Being creative..

4.3.16

- Faz coisas diversas e diferentes.
E nisto identifico-me muito.

The music is playing in the background. And also are the doubts. For counterbalance it I call the optimism. It's an afternoon of writing and reading. Planning. Of moving forward. I'm seeking inspiration. Nothing happens by chance and this post found me. In short, here are some ways to live more creatively:
- Do random and different things. Break your habits. (And this is hard for me. I'm a person of habits).
- Have fun with some activity. (For me it has to be the dance or music) keep yourself curious to everything that is new.
- Think outside the box. A typically English expression to say we need to see things from a different perspective. Unlike the way you are used to. And this advice is for everything, not only in relation to your work, but in all your relationships.
- It takes time and space to be creative. And I identify to this a lot. I can't draw, work, organize my head in a visually messy or dirty place. I can not. Is it a waste of time to clean? Not for me. Because then I will be more productive.
- Lose the fear of making mistakes. With no mistakes there is no learning.
- Explore everything around you. Museums, galleries, parks.
- Surround yourself with different people from you. Really like this one . People from different worlds. With different visions of my own. I may not agree. But knowing all these worlds it opens your mind. We become more tolerant and rich in experiences and knowledge.
This is my version of the post  I mentioned. You can read it in full here.
But the post doesn't speak directly of an essential thing. Travelling. Nothing calls for more creativity than traveling. Nothing enriches your spirit more, or opens your mind. Traveling is the true food for the spirit. Even for an anxious girl like me. I've always returned from my travels greater than it was when I left. And not bigger in my bottom, although Italy is a disaster for it. But greater in spirit. Richer in my ideas. Richer in dreams. This year I really have to feed the spirit.
