Ours are always special..

Ver adolescentes a tocar piano e violino (e com gosto) dá-me optimismo e esperança.

I'm not much of those mothers who's always describe the spectacular feats of their children, and how they can already solve a mathematical problem while making the pin with one hand and play the piano and speak French. By chance, they speak fluent French but don't play the piano. Yesterday was violin's recital night. And the wave of pride that struck me when the teacher in front of an audience talks about the "talent" and the work of my son, I think it was noticeable to all who were there. When we got up they all slip in my pride. And the his father's and uncle's and grandparent's pride. And I believe all the parents were as well very proud see their children. See teenagers playing piano and violin (with pleasure) gives me optimism and hope. It gives me optimism to see how a music school not only teaches music, but feeds the self-esteem of children that are still developing their personality. As they teach them to face failures and errors with sense of humor, devaluing them and extolling the achievements and the rest that goes well. As is shown to the children that we all fail and it should be a drama. Exemplifying that with work everything is achieved. Applause to the school. And we know that for us mothers and fathers, our children are always special and have an aura to our eyes that no other child has. And so it should be. I am therefore excused if i walk with pride. But genuine happiness comes from seeing the pride of my son in himself. Overcoming himself. The adrenaline that he brought home by overcoming himself. And I hope that this feeling always stays with him it will take him wherever  he wants to go.
